Forum CODICIS in LibreOpinion

On 1 August the server that hosts sites LibreOpinion, Codicis, forums and Fugitive Codicis was offline for more than ten hours. That day I was absent most of the morning and get home at noon I met Marina and Elena messages on the blog was offline. Check it but there was nothing to do, I thought it was routine maintenance and that the site would be back soon. Two hours later the site was still offline, so I decided to contact the hosting support.

Through them I realized that the site was more than ten hours off-line, and also the combination of sites was causing the server overload, which may have been a reason for the server had disabled. The sites were restored from that same moment, but I had the task of reducing the overhead to minimize the possibility of recurrence of the problem.

So the first step will remove Codicis forums, redirecting to the equivalent section that already exists in LibreOpinion where there is a good collection of books available for download, and where we can upload some new campaign if you want to share, and continue with the discussions about it.

For users of the forum which was in force until CODICIS this day and want to copy any content to another forum, can follow it by accessing the address www.libreopinion.net/foros/, but no such direction shall be effective for long.

I look forward to understanding all that this change is to prevent problems that threaten the stability of the three sites will continue online and in future advertising revenue being generated in libreopinión may help us make upgrade to allow continuous growth in accepting the sites visitors are experiencing.

It's a shame to know that the forum is now absorbed by Libreopinion course the explanation is entirely understandable.

Although I thought the forum would have more visitors gradually, it did not happen. Most preferred to publish their messages on the blog, so I'm used to that too. Even so, I want to thank Bill for providing this space. I hope the blog continues as I find this spot a way to distract me from the way my appeal to me, that is humorous without falling into infantilism, with common sense without falling into ordinariness, with logic without being closed, flexible while remaining focused, with a balance between maturity and youthful spirit. I very much like mutual respect is born because there needs to be moderate, due to the attitude in-cream and cream of those involved here. Just like the people that I meet (planned or spontaneous) in real life in the cafes I frequent when I want to be distracted by an interesting talk or a book in the quiet of a corner.

    Thanks Bill.

    Thanks Marina, for the support.

In two subforums Libreopinion existed that dealt with the same content in this blog that point, so I thought it would be better to target three (codicis forum and the two subforums of libreopinion) into one, with two goals: reducing overloading the server with a less, and highlight Libreopinion that same space, where there is already content that we can continue spreading.

Libreopinion Unfortunately not for profit, and though I can afford to have the site online, a limited amount you can get out of my pocket.

Can continue as we were meant to be doing an upgrade in the hosting, which requires an investment of more than $ 60 per month. The sites do not produce much, so make an upgrade at this time would keep the site out of my pocket for a long time, which would be inappropriate.

It is something to be done in the future, however, and I'm aware of that, hopefully, when called for, the income level of the forum has grown and can be maintained by himself. I think we all expect more participation in a forum, but more users, more resources are needed.

The sites are definitely here to stay, the hosting is paid (and was considered to have the resources necessary) until 2010. The site's monthly income is accumulated for the next payment in 2010 out of the account, hopefully the same level to allow an upgrade by then. All indications are that it will, but in the meantime, we must be resourceful with existing resources.
