New server hosting

As I expected to, 
I found time this weekend to move some of my sites to new server Mediatemple, I did a test with a new blogging platform because it wanted to change for the lost post the other day. Such a platform is installing Movable Type and I made it on the site salvablog.com
I could migrate the content of this website and is available at www.salvablog.com/blog/.
However, I could not get used to new software, and since it was to migrate the domain, and I definitely always using wordpress. I'll get tips on how to maximize safety to prevent the above problem to recur.
LibreOpinion.net is the next place to migrate, which could happen next week if all goes well.
